The Antimicrobial Filter for the AIRBOX Peak Series is the second stage of the filtration system. The Antimicrobial treatment deactivates microbes on the filter media that irritate our lungs and make us sick. This filter is treated with the Microban Aegis Microbe Shield® which works 24/7 to eliminate microbes and prolong the life of the Antimicrobial Filter.

The Antimicrobial Filter extends the life of the HEPA Filter by reducing the particle load. Therefore, we recommend changing the filter every six months to make sure you’re breathing the cleanest air possible and maintaining the health of the HEPA filter.
